Joshua Smith

Founder and Editor at Cruising Freedom

This is the definitive guide on Monday Never Sailing for 2023.

Since 2015, I have spent many hours watching and researching everything I could about Monday Never Sailing to learn more about their story.

(Yes, I really am *that* obsessed with Will and Cat 😃)

If you wanted to know:

➜ How Monday Never Sailing afforded their boat

➜ How they make their money today

➜ What boat do they have and its upgrades

➜ Where have they been sailing

➜ How you can start crossing oceans

Then you’ve definitely come to the right place.

Before we start, a quick introduction from me…

The Cruising Freedom Author

Ahoy, Matey! I’m Joshua from Australia.

I’ve built the perfect business to sail the world.

A business model which can allow me to:

➜ Own a catamaran debt-free

➜ Go for weeks without WIFI

➜ Create semi-passive income

➜ Inspire others to dream big

But more on that later… 🙂

The Boat

Monday Never Sailing has a 1989 Contest 46 yacht

Upgrades

They have upgraded their yacht with solar panels, AIS and Chartplotter.

Location

They are currently in West Palm Beach, Florida.

They appear up-to-date on their YouTube videos and are doing some boat work.

Past Cruising

In the past, they have sailed through the Mediterranean.

Affording It

Will and Catherine worked hard and eventually bought their boat after years in corporate life.

Net Worth

Monday Never Sailing have a net worth of $560,000.

Making Loot

Unlike most other YouTubers, Monday Never Sailing don’t try hard to make money from their channel. They do make some money from running ads, Patreon and selling their own swag, but that’s about it.

They have small sponsorship deals with Skabenga Lures, Mantus and Sport-a-Seat.

Will also works in a freelance role part-time to generate cash flow.

Combined, this makes them around $7,900/month and is enough to keep them sailing full-time.

Collaborations

They run a small channel so I haven’t seen them featured with any other Youtubers. They were with Chase The Story for one episode, although those guys have since sold their boat and aren’t doing YouTube anymore.

Big Moments

Moments in their journey include:

➜ Coming across a tanker while running aground

➜ Swimming with sharks and pigs

They don’t publish as much content as other channels.

Future Plans

They may be planning to have another child and eventually sail around the world. For now – at least – they’re enjoying the Caribbean.

Key Takeaways

We can learn lots from this beautiful couple:

➜ Keep your videos sweet and simple

➜ Be willing to take calculated risks

➜ Sailing with children is quite easy

➜ Find a partner who shares your values

and of course, be prepared for changes!

Conclusion

I have really enjoyed watching their journey slowly unfold on YouTube since 2015, and can’t wait to see where this takes them!
