The Ultimate Guide to Sailing The Far Side For 2022
Everything You Always Wanted To Know
Founder and Editor at Cruising Freedom
This is the definitive guide on Sailing The Far Side for 2022.
Over the last 3 years, I have spent 21 hours watching and researching everything I could about Sailing The Far Side to learn more about their story.
(Yes, I really am *that* obsessed with these beautiful women just like you 😃)
If you wanted to know:
➜ How Sailing The Far Side afford their boat?
➜ How do they make their money today?
➜ What boat do they have and its upgrades?
➜ Who are the sisters, Sasha and Natalie?
➜ Can you source any leaked/uncensored content?
➜ Do any of them have boyfriends?
Then you’ve definitely come to the right place.
Before we start, a quick introduction from me…
The Cruising Freedom Author
Ahoy, Matey! I’m Joshua from Australia.
I’ve built the perfect business to sail the world.
A business model which can allow me to:
➜ Own a catamaran debt-free
➜ Go for weeks without WIFI
➜ Create semi-passive income
➜ Inspire others to dream big
But more on that later… 🙂
Sailing The Far Side FAQs (June 2022)
I’m not sure what their boat name is.
Sascha Meyers (age 26)
Nathalie Meyers (age 27)
Both girls do YouTube full-time and are influencers. Both are single too the last time I checked.
They also have their 2 dogs on board.
Sailing The Far Side has a custom-built 1987 Tradewinds 50′ yacht. It was originally their dad’s boat.
Upgrades to their yacht include:
➜ Mantus marine anchor (they sent it for free)
➜ They use an iPad with Navionics as their main navigation in the cockpit
➜ An air compressor to fill up their dive tanks
➜ B&G Zeus 3 Chartplotter and AIS
The sisters are continuing to upgrade the boat and keep it in tip-top condition.
They have been missing from YouTube for several months, but their last-known location was Fort Lauderdale and Key West, Florida:
Why did they stop producing videos? Did they sell the boat? Get boyfriends?
I have checked Nathalie and Sasha’s Instagrams which were only just updated. They’re still active! Just not uploading more videos at this time.
The girls have mostly explored the United States and the Bahamas. They are planning for South America in the new year.
Are the girls rich? Not really, but their dad bought the boat, not them. They’re influencers and make their income through sponsorships.
In 2022, Sailing The Far Side has a net worth of $270,000.
They view their YouTube channel as a business that generates approximately $8,200/month via:
➜ Selling their official merchandise (t-shirts and calendars)
➜ Using Amazon affiliate links to sailing products
➜ Running advertising on their YouTube channel
➜ Gaining donations via PayPal, Venmo and Patreon
They are very creative with their content and it’s certainly paid off. Their audience (mostly older men) really appreciate the content and laidback vibes that these beautiful women bring to their channel.
I haven’t seen them on any other YouTube channels so far. Have you? If yes – please let me know so I can update this… 🙂
Moments in their journey include
➜ Almost getting hit by lightning
➜ Getting seasick more than once
➜ Having a few shark encounters
➜ Doing an engine oil change by themselves
➜ They also crashed their boat once
They’re a seriously fun channel and they haven’t crossed oceans, but have sailed to some beautiful spots.
Where to next? They haven’t given any concrete updates to what direction their channel is going. If you do find out, again, please let me know!
What can we learn from these beautiful souls?
➜ Make the most of every single day
➜ Don’t worry about expensive boats
➜ Women can definitely sail by themselves
➜ Work as a team to make the dream happen
And of course, have a ton of fun!
These women have inspired men and women equally to see the world with wind in their sails.
I’m so glad they’ve shared their travels with us on YouTube and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
