Sammy Hitzke FAQs (January 2023)

Boat Name

M/V Full-Spread

Crew Members

Sammy Hitzke (age 35) from Brisbane, Australia.

He has kept his wife and family details discreet as he wishes to respect their privacy at this time.

The Boat

So what is that impressive boat you see on YouTube?

Sammy Hitzke’s boat is a 2016 Sea Hunt 186 Triton (5.6m) Centre Console fishing boat with a 140hp Suzuki outboard. It’s a fantastic all-rounder boat for both deep water fishing and low draft experiences.

You can watch a tour here:

Upgrades

He has upgraded the boat with VHF radio, electric trolling motor and multiple rocket launchers.

Location

Almost all of his fishing has been done in Australia.

Past Cruising

He has done a ton of fishing, but I’m not able to give out his favorite fishing spots of GPS locations.

Affording It

Sammy simply worked hard and doesn’t have children, so he was able to buy his boat in South Australia and continue living his awesome lifestyle.

Net Worth

Sammy Hitzke has a net worth of $475,000 Australian dollars. This is based on the value of his boat, fishing equipment and online business.

Making Bank

How does he make money as a content creator?

➜ He allows ads on his YouTube channel

➜ You can also purchase SHF merchandise

In total, Sammy Hitzke makes $2,700/month AUD by creating fishing videos for YouTube.

He also does some brand deals with BCF and other popular stores, while working on building his own fishing lures and other gear.

Collaborations

Apart from fishing with his mates and Shauno from 4WD 24-7, I haven’t seen him on any other popular channels.

Big Moments

He’s had some legendary moments hauling huge fish on his channel, but I won’t spoil those. 🙂

He had suffered a boat fire once back in 2016 near Heron Island. It was really nasty but he got through it just fine.

Future Plans

I believe that Sammy is looking to head up to the Kimberly region of Western Australia in the near future.

Key Takeaways

What can we learn from this Australian icon?

➜ You don’t need an expensive boat

And of course, hard work always pays off!
